A few new pictures

Mimi & Layla Mariee

Siena spent the night Saturday night while Jamey's parents kept all the grandkids at our house so we could go on a date. Here they all are minus Layla in our tub.

This is probably ONLY funny to those that witnessed Layla's birth- my mom, both my sisters, my mother-in-law and sweet Jamey.... but when I was trying to tell the nurses there was NO time for all their paper work and chit chat that Layla was HONESTLY coming out- my voice turned into a moose sound (same thing happened when I had Denton) and out she came in shock to all. We always laugh about my "moose calling" so for my birthday my mom bought "Moose Drool" beer for the men to toast me with. I also got a moose for my charm bracelet... so I guess the jokes on me!

Jamey and I have been married for 9 years. We met in college, and he proposed to me there too... hence the name of our second son "Denton". We are perfectly made for each other- we are totally different in just the perfect way. Opposites..... or maybe I should say complements. A little yin..... a little yang. He's a saver. I'm a spender. He's an outdoorsman. I'd rather have a little a/c. He likes to work. I like to play. I'm pretty intuitive..... he's..... not so much."In all things God works for the good of those who love him." I love being at home in the summers with my kids. 

I don't like coffee.

I both found and lost myself the day my first born was laid in my arms.
My 2nd son has me double wrapped around his pinkie.
My daughter is the rest of my heart that made it whole.
I'm the maid,
laundress,
chef,
chauffeur,
grocery shopper,
train track assembler.
He's the bread winner,
anything electronic fixer/setter upper,
trash man,
dog carer,
horse & pig feeder
and my secret weapon.
He's my best friend, my biggest cheerleader, and always puts us first.
He folds laundry and makes breakfast on the weekends! 
I think I'll keep him.
His Love to me is the icing on my cupcake.

Grayson is our larger than life 6 1/2 year old. He is a sweet, beautiful boy loving anything to do with trains or out-doors related. Grayson has handled his role as the big brother impressively well. He cares for his little brother ferociously. Looking through the world through Grayson's eyes is amazing... and hilarious at the same time. He made us all slow down to enjoy family first. He is our angel baby. He has a huge, deep-feeling heart. Is nurturing and funny is brillant, beautiful, a rule follower and loves music.
