18 week sonogram

baby 18 weeks

Our doctors apointment went great. The baby is between 5" and 6" long and 7 ounces, so almost 1/2 a pound. Right on track, and all test and measurments look great. This was the appointment to find out the sex of the baby, but we have decided to wait until the arrival of the little one to find out. Any guesses? I think it looks just like Grayson.

another cute picture

I have no time for blogging these days! School is coming to an end with 5 weeks left, time is all I will have soon! My in-laws just left tonight for a trip to South America for a week, so I will try to gather some good pictures for when they get back (hopefully they make it back, and without the Swine Flu!) Every minute is spent playing with Grayson from the time Jamey and I get home from work until he goes to bed. So there isn't much time for blogging. I know I will be much better this summer being home and all the fun things we will be doing. Yesterday my neighbors daughter came to play with Grayson for about an hour. There was something about watching the excitement and fun that he was having that just melted my heart. I am so happy about this baby on the way, but yesterday watching Grayson alone in his room acting like a crazy kid with Regan stopped me in my track to thank God not only for this baby for Jamey and I, but to thank Him for giving Grayson a sibling. He is going to love to have someone to play with always. The relationship I have with both of my sisters is one of the best gifts my parents could have ever given me. I am so thankful that we are able to give that same gift to Grayson. This pictures is from this weekend. Isn't his face just precious!

Easter Morning: Josh, dad. sis. Grayson, me, Jamey, Papa, Nanny (aka- Nan)

Snuggled watching a movie

Grayson was born on Good Friday so in our house it is called "Great Friday"! It is great not only because of the GREAT celebration of Jesus dieing for our sins, but also because that was the day we got Grayson, AND I am off every year on "Great Friday" so Grayson and I get to spend special time on a special day together. It is a GREAT day in our home. Great Friday started off with a shower to get ready to go have lunch with my longest friend, Sabrina in Dallas. We have been great friends since we were 7 years old. When Grayson and I got out of the shower and dried off I went to go get his clothes, I came back to find him in the pictures above laying on the counter playing with his trains in the sink. It was too funny not to laugh and take a picture! Then Saturday bought us Kennedy's 1st birthday party at the park. She was born on the same day as Grayson and we think that is pretty special. Then we grabbed a quick nap and headed to another park for an Easter Egg hunt. Easter Morning we got up early and headed out to my dad's church for Easter service. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his church more than any church I have gone too, even my own, and if you know me you know I love my church, I have been going there since I was 5, and it is my family. But there is something about my dads church that makes you want to get up and shout about your savior. They have an amazing band and an amazing preacher who "teaches" instead of "preaches". Ok I am getting excited all over again.... then we spent some time at my dads and got to see my cousins, and grandparents, and aunt & uncle and Gayson had an indoor Easter egg hunt since it was raining out. Then we headed to my moms to eat and hang out. Grayson got Beverly Hill's Chihuahua for Easter (he loves our 2 Chihuahua's and he picked this movie out so my mom got it for him). We all got in my mom's bed and watched it. A great way to end a rainy Easter!

Colt Stampeed

after our 5K run Saturday morning

Mea-Mall, Grayson, Aunt Pretty

Grayson checking on the eggs

We had out annual Colts Stampede at our school. It is one of my favorite things that our school does every year. Last year I ran pushing Grayson in the stroller and won 1st place in my age group. This year... a little different. Jamey was pushing Grayson and I was running.... but only as fast as Jamey was walking. :) The picture of Grayson looking into the bird house I love. I am sure I tramatized him Thursday morning when the wren that built the nest in that house got into my moms house and I tried to catch it. We opened the door to drop Grayson off that morning and the bird flew in. Mom was so worried if we didn't get her out her babies would die (she had built the nest and was now sitting on her eggs) So I jumped up on the counter and tried to catch her. Everytime I thought I had, it flew out my my hands. Mom was holding Grayson and he was tried to figure out what in the world was going on. Finally I cought it and put it back with her babies. So I love this picure of Grayson... it looks like he was checking to make sure they were all ok.
