PopPop's Birthday and a few more pictures

Grayson playing Uncle Josh's guitar

I am not sure which of the 3 have the cuter smile:
Grayson, Pinocchio, or Ashley??

PopPop gave Grayson some ammunition for Aunt Pretty!

I asked nanny if she had any candles for my dad's birthday cake, she dead seriously brought these out, and 4 of them!! Sis and I got the biggest laugh out of that.

I love this picture, Jamey is trying to fix Papa's headphones and tv... but I think he really would love to have some for himself.

The water was SUPER cold... just look at the look on his face

Our Sweet Little Bella

Jamey gave me Bella for our one year anniversary with a pink bow wrapped around her neck. She was 6 months old. She passed away Thursday morning, she was 7 year's old. She was such a sweet dog. Jamey took her to our new lot and buried her under one of the oak trees there so that she will always be with us. As you can see from the pictures Grayson loved her as much as Jamey and I did!

My favorite picture of these two.. you have to click on this one to make it bigger- it is such a precious picture.

Fun filled, jam packed weekend

We went Friday night out to listen to Josh play. Josh is my sisters boyfriend who sings country music. Grayson once again was tearing up the dance floor.

Saturday we went to my best friend, Jessilyn's crawfish boil (SICK!) Jamey was excited, and looks like Grayson was too!

Sunday we went to the Ranger game.

This is one of my favorite ways Grayson sits. But this is how he looked watching the Ranger's. I don't know if he sits like this because he sees his daddy do it, or if it is in his genes, but they both sit like this with their arms up and I think it is precious when Grayson does it (us moms are so silly)

10 Years ago today, May 14th, Jamey and I started dating. We were standing on the beach after 5 great months of an incrediable friendship when the dating stages began. Oh the memories of college and all the fun! I can't tell you how thankful I am that those dating days are over — for so many reasons. I do like reminiscing about how 'in love' or infatuated we were with each other. However, I much prefer this deeper love (which still includes quite a bit, if not more, infatuation) that has developed and matured through our relationships with Jesus and the trials and immense blessings that we have been through together over the years. So...our advice? Love Jesus first. Be involved in your church. And everything else seems to fall into place.

Another year at the lake house for Mother's Day, and another year of thankfulness for my little boy so that I may be called Mama! So excuse us in these pictures, we are dirty and all need a bath.

In the beginning God created.....a wild child!

Grayson & Aunt Bubba when she came to play

practicing cutting

Aunt Shessie went with us on Cinco de Mayo to Children's Hospital. This is them watching the trains- Grayson's favorite part.

As soon as that baby popped up on the screen Grayson goes "mama, baby!"

after I was finished, he crawled up and was watching Finding Nemo on the little TV

it was freezing in there, so he made himself at home as we waited for the Dr to come in and covered himself up. Aunt Shessie's favorite part was his feet poking out the end. My favorite part is that he just does whatever he wants- crawls up, covers up, and tunes us out to watch Nemo.

Jamey started reading the Bible to Grayson tonight. Grayson LOVES to be read to he loves books so much and has since he was a baby. He would sit and look at books and we would say where is the "ball, baby, shoe, etc" and he would show us on the page long before he was even one years old. We have always used the 30 min before bedtime to all get into bed together and read. Grayson knows nothing else, and looks forward to it. Tonight, Jamey picked up Grayson's Bible and read to him for 30 min. I caught the last 10 min of his readings on camera. He lost interest after 20 min of no picutres. Can you tell from the pictures?! He heard Jesus' name a lot so I think he could realate... "Je Je" (as he calls him) and Him go way back! :) but after a while... he was acting like a wild one.

Grayson's 3

new born

Happy 1st Birthday!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Grayson's 3rd birthday has come and gone and I realized I had not even mentioned it. I don't want to forget how he is right now at 3. I was told I could make this blog into a memory book, so now that his scrapbook is filled up, I figured I would blog instead. So I started his next scrapbook last night, what sence does that make?.... I do both??!! There is a part of me that feels like I won't be able to figure out how to retreve all this I have posted. Kind of like my "paper trail" at work..... "just incase" something happens to it all my computer files. Here is what Grayson likes and doesn't like righ now:
He loves:
everyone, kisses, hugs, m&ms, trains, Thomas the Train, jumping, skiping, ice water, books, movies, going on walks, coloring, cutting, bigger puzzles, balloons, music, presents, feeding the dogs, dancing, stickers, tattoos, me to hold him the whole time I am getting ready for work in the morning, daddy to play trains as SOON as he walks in the door from work, pizza, chips and salsa, talking on the phone to whoever calls for him, singing ABC's and Jesus Loves Me with us,
He doesn't love:
time out, thunder, showers, us saying no, Bogie (our dog) to fetch his toy when Grayson throws it to him, not getting to pick Bella (our other dog)
Grayson's dispisition at this age is just like it has always been- very sweet and loving. Of course he gets mad if he doesn't get something that he wants, but that passes quick enough for us.
His new favorite sayings- "un you (fill in the blank)" (love you____) to whoever and whatever he sees, "Oh Yea!" when we ask him a quesiton he wants to answer yes to, "mommy open tummy Gray hold baby"
