Denton' Nursery

I don't particularly love the tiles over his crib (even though they are the perfect colors), but it needed something until his picture is hung above the crib.... so that part is just until then.

Pickles & Ice Cream

My sweet team that I work with and 2 other friends at school threw me a "pickles and ice cream" shower. We had sugar cookies in the shape of pickles, and ice cream sundaes. The toppings were served out of baby bottles- precious! Denton got so many wonderful things. Notice that we are we all in pink for a baby boy shower.... it was pink day in Kindergarten and the whole school gets involved..... I think we all look very cute.

So I guess I am down to once a week posts... if that. I just don't have the time between being back at work, Grayson, and getting ready to have this baby. Hopefully once he comes, I can get better.

We took Boogie to ride the dirty, germy carousal on Friday since he hasn't been feel that great this week. He was happy, and knew he got a cookie (well half of a cookie) after the 2nd ride. It's an easy way to get him off the ride without getting upset... he is actually excited to get off. Just call me "Mama Trickster Dixter"! Dadddy took this picture of us...

Update on Denton James

I am dilated to a 2, last week I was dilated to a 1 so mother nature is kind and doing what she should... hopefully she will continue to do so that there is no interventions or medications or c-sections. I went into it with Grayson with an open mind and all worked out just as I had prayed for. I am having the same open mind, and the same prayers this time as well. Denton is about 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19 1/2" long. Here is a 3-D picture of him as well. He has the "Duckworth cheeks" (my maiden name) for sure just like Grayson... big and round! Doesn't get much cuter than that!
