"When I grow up, I am going to be a cowboy"

Grayson really enjoyed Christmas this year. He knows who Santa is, and he can open a present faster than I can... that is pretty fast. He didn't understand that he got a trampoline since it was in the box, so until we can set it up there won't be much excitement there. When Jamey and I say that there is a big trampoline in the box he just keeps say "jump.. jump!" He was excited about the motorized Jeep he got until it started to move (the whole point of it), then he wanted out. It might be a while before we can get him back in it. We leave Sunday for 8 days of skiing. Grayson has not played in snow yet, except for the snow we got in January of 2007. He was 9 months old and too young to enjoy it. The first time we took him to the beach he hated it. The 2nd time we took him he loved it. So if he doesn't like snow this year, then maybe the next. We will be ringing in 2009 there. Happy New Year!

at his Christmas program as he preformed all the motions

I took the day off today, like I have in the past, to spend the day with Grayson at Church. He had his Christmas program this morning, and was so cute doing all the motions to the songs. Then he had his Christmas party. Here are a few of the hundred pictures that I took.

Dear Santa.....

family Frosty movie night

Grayson in my Santa socks

listening to Santa.. so sweet

hugging Santa good bye

We went this weekend to see Santa. Grayson was hesitant at first, holding on tight to my neck, but he never cried. When we told him he needed to get up there and tell Santa what toys he wanted for Christmas, he was all about hearing what Santa had to say and telling him he wanted "Thomas". Just when we thought he owned everything with Thomas on it; Costco, Target, and Toys-R-Us decide to load up on "new" Thomas toys...AND SOMEHOW Grayson can spot them 6 isles over. HE shows us where the ones that he doesn't have are. Needless to say, he is going to have a very Merry Christmas. I also included pictures of Grayson in my Christmas socks. We had a silly Christmas day at school and I wore those sock, Grayson wanted to wear them when I got home and changed. He was so funny because they looked like hose on him, and because he was sliding everywhere in them. And I love the picture of my boys watching Frosty The Snow Man... or at least one of them was watching :)

Run Run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread....TRAIN?

These are the kids of the 2 girls I was pregnant with at school
Grayson ate his pizza AND theirs. The girls ran off to play and the next thing I knew he was moving chair to chair at the places with left over pizza...eating it.

So proud of his finished product
The whole gang
Grayson was invited to a Ginger Bread House making party with my girlfriends from work. My friend, that I teach with told me about a "train" gingerbread building kit. So we dashed to Target together and bought them for our boys. Grayson was a pro at decorating it.

decorating the entry tree

So excited about his very own tree

This week we have been decorating for Christmas at out house. Grayson doesn't mess with the 2 big trees we have, but it is hard for him to resist the little tree in his room. It is filled with "his" ornaments, one being what my mom gave him last year of Percy and Thomas the trains covered in snow. He wanted to keep taking them off to play with them. He doesn't mess with it now, but does tell it "bye-bye" each morning before we leave. We haven't put the gifts under the tree yet because I know for a fact he would open them all.
