Another fun day of summer

Today started with picking up Landon at 9:45 and heading to Pump It Up for an hours worth of Jumping:

Then we loaded up and headed to paint whatever the boys picked out. I tried to get Grayson to pick the frog with the open mouth and paint it for me (one that could hold a sponge at my kitchen sink) but he wanted nothing to do with it. Instead he picked a Fish that he said was Nemo and Landon picked an Alligator. The boys were very serious about reading their "business" in between places we went today.

Here we are.. proud mama's of our little precious boys

Posing with their masterpiece

Then we loaded up and headed off to Chucky Cheese! To eat pizza, play games, get tattoos and pray we didn't pick up the Swine Flu while we were there.

Look at Landon's face. He so SO scared of the "real" Chuckey Cheese that he ran and hid himself under this game. Poor baby! We did good at not letting Landon see him when the rat was walking around saying hi to all the kids.

I love this picture- you have to click on it to make it bigger to see how precious the boys faces are eating pizza

Grayson and Landon got their picture drawn by the machine

We had to call the day short and didn't get to go to Pure Bliss for frozen yogurt, and Landon didn't get to come play trains at Grayson's, but we plan on making another day for those 2 fun activities! Then Grayson fell asleep watching a movie. The boys are only 4 months apart and really enjoy playing with each other. These pictures below I had to include of the boys- Grayson was 1 and Landon was 8 months. This is when they were in Little Gym together. They were just as precious then! My little bald bundle!

This kid has a mind of his own

This morning I was cleaning out my closet and Grayson was looking at books on the floor. He got his play shaving kit out and asked me if he could shave. I told him yes. Then.... this is how I found him. I couldn't stop laughing, so I am sure now he will do it just to get me to laugh.

Fun Weekend and no pictures

Johnna, Ivy, Ashley, Kimmie, Amy, Heather is in the front

Ivy & Me (9 weeks to go!) Why are the only pictures of me with my hair up and no make-up!?

looking for the horses

I didn't do very good this weekend taking pictures! We were very busy this weekend and with no pictures to show for it! Friday night my girlfriends and I got together for a few hours to visit. We try to make time for each other as often as we can. Saturday we went to the horse tracks with my dad and Shawna and Josh. Grayson was a pro at picking the winning horses! Everytime a race would start he would yell "Run horsie run!" The winning horse, that we all bet on and won on was named "Racin' Grayson" ha! And his owner was Tayna Green (my moms maiden name is Tana Green- weird!). Sunday my family got together for both my sisters birthdays at my mom's house (they are 10 days apart) we swam, grilled out and enjoyed more family time. These are the few pictures I do have!

Puzzle Time

new trick- I guess this is how he reads books now :)

My Mea-Mall has staying with us for the past 2 days, and we started this puzzle. It took 12 hours to get the outside together, it is the hardest puzzle I have ever put together. Grayson loves puzzles too, so of course he went and got his Thomas puzzle and is right in the middle of us. Something funny Grayson told me: he needed to go poop. SO.... I set him on the potty and stood there. He goes "Go aways mommy, I go poop!" So I left the bathroom and told him to call me when he needed me. As I was walking away he said "I sorry mommy, I sorry mommy" ha!

Train Ride

This morning we went to Ft Worth and played at a park, until it got too hot and then took a 40 min train ride. Of course it was the highlight of the day for Gray. Everytime the whistle tooted he would look at me, drop his mouth open and say "Toot Toot!" We went with my friend Heather and her son Caden.

survival test part 2... almost finished!

you may need to click on these pictures to make them bigger so you can see??

Jamey came by today to watch Gray in the water. He was not fatigued after the lesson today, the shoes and clothes didn't make it hard for him like yesterday. She was flipping him backwards and pushing him down to the bottom (to mock a backwards fall into the water) he was to come up and floating on his back and then swim to get out. He did great. Sometimes he just wants to jump off the side and play instead of being shoved under the water over and over and over again, but he is such a trooper and goes along with the rules. Something funny Gray said today: we went outside to water flowers and our neighbors were outside sitting on their front porch. We walked over to say hi and visit for a min. When we were walking up he goes "my baby is in mommy's tummy." and then he proceeds to lift my dress up to show them. nice! I caught a hold of my dress before the reveal thank goodness. They laughed (nervously and thankfully!)

Survival Swim today

Here is Grayson in his clothes doing his survival skills today at swim practice. He had to jump in the pool in his clothes and socks and shoes and survive. WOW! Hard for me... and hard for him. Mrs. Tammy wouldn't help him (unless he really started to drown I think she really would... surely!) It was hard on him because he was weighted down with the clothes. The socks and shoes really fatigued him with his swimming to get to the side. Tomorrow we do the same thing again, and he tests out on Friday! Yea for several reasons: no more big money to pay!, G is so smart he learned 3 1/2 weeks quicker than planned, and now he can swim! win win win! Grayson truly loves to swim... and loves to be under the water. If he continues to love swimming, it might be an option for him to really pursue. He is unable to do any contact sports, no because of his heart, but because his chest bone has been cut open and wired back together it is now more fragile and contact sports are out for him. Swimming would be a GREAT sport for him if he continues to love it.
