What do we do with nothing to do....

We read

we spin as fast as we can & try to walk

we watch football

we play dress up

we act crazy

we test our abilities

This weekend we really had no plans to do anything. It was nice just to be home. I had a girl shopping trip on Sunday, but other than that we just played at the house. When Grayson gets to just be at home and play, he always comes up with something new that he starts doing. This weekend Bella, our dog, became his best friend. Now, Bogie, our other dog has been his best friend, ever since he could crawl he would play with Bogie, pretty much ignoring Bella. All weekend all he wanted was Bella in his lap. He figured out how to pick her up and toss her up in the chair and then climb up with her. He would cry when she tried to run away (for some peace of mind I am sure). Every time I turned around this weekend, Grayson was doing something so funny that would make me laugh out loud. So here is what we do when we have nothing to do....notice all the ones of Grayson with Bella... he would place her where he wanted her then he would do his thing. Grayson is in bed now... and Bella ran off to hide.

Jamey and I have been married for 9 years. We met in college, and he proposed to me there too... hence the name of our second son "Denton". I both found and lost myself the day my first born was laid in my arms.
My 2nd son has me double wrapped around his pinkie.
My daughter is the rest of my heart that made it whole.
I'm the maid,
laundress,
chef,
chauffeur,
grocery shopper,
train track assembler.
He's the bread winner,
anything electronic fixer/setter upper,
trash man,
dog carer,
horse & pig feeder
and my secret weapon.
He's my best friend, my biggest cheerleader, and always puts us first.
He folds laundry and makes breakfast on the weekends! 
I think I'll keep him.
His Love to me is the icing on my cupcake.

Grayson is our larger than life 6 1/2 year old. He is a sweet, beautiful boy loving anything to do with trains or out-doors related. Grayson has handled his role as the big brother impressively well. He cares for his little brother ferociously. Looking through the world through Grayson's eyes is amazing... and hilarious at the same time. He made us all slow down to enjoy family first. He is our angel baby. He has a huge, deep-feeling heart. Is nurturing and funny is brillant, beautiful, a rule follower and loves music.
